  • Had a question of Hydraulics related to B737…
    why is the electrically driven hydraulic pumps of SYSTEM A named ELEC 2 and tht of SYSTEM B named ELEC 1, whereas it is opposite for engine driven pump.??
    any specific reason for it????

  • dude u r confusing urself.. see there are 2 hydraulic systems in b737 hyd system A and B, apart from standby hudraulic system which is provided in case hyd sys A and/or B fails. Both the hyd systems A and B consists of 2 hydraulic pumps each.. where one is Engine Driven pump and another is Electric Motor driven pump.. Engine driven pump is powered by related engine whereas Electric motor driven pumb is powered by opposite transfer bus.. dont domplicate this..
