  • A Northern Lamberts conformal conic chart is overprinted with a false grid which is aligned with
    the 25W longitude. The constant of the cone of the chart is 0.80. If the true track at 120W is
    090 will the grid track be:
    a) 014
    b) 166
    c) 185
    d) 355 how?
  • grid=true track+convergency..
    convergency=dlong x n (constant of cone)
    so, convergency=.8 x 95 = 76..
    grid= 76+90 = 166…
