  • Friends need ur suggestion
I cleared my all papers n done flying 60 hrs bt nw I have stopped flying due financial prob. I m jus 12th passed. I m thinking of doing graduation now for which first choice is Bsc in aviation bt that is also coslty. So is der any loc cost or cheap institute or university from which I cn do bsc in aviation? Or else other den bsc in aviation what will u all suggest me to do. Suggestions from each one of u will b seriously appreciated friends. N friends I will b completing my CPL as my condition improves. Bt mean while I want to do some or d other thingg which is seriously vry cheap. So pls help me friends. Thank u all
  • I would suggest do a normal BSc with any of your fav subjects that will fetch u a degree as well as it will help u in the future if for some reason u may not be able to finish your CPL and also it will help you to get employed in any other stream in aviation or others too, anyways now days only getting CPL will nt help and to put more money for Type Rating is out of question fr normal ppl who had already borrowed education loans for there CPL. all the best for your future. also normal BSc graduation is comparatively much cheaper.
  • Better do an engineering degree in a more broad stream like mechanical engineering or so.. Out of my experience if u are into aviation with financial issues then its just putting urself, ur family and future into a deep disaster which will take years to come to a even normal position or might never be able to recover also depending in ur financial situation. This is intended not in a way to discourage you but to keep you out of trouble. But once u complete ur B.E or any other such helpful degree if u have money go only for cpl if ur job is somewhat certain. Fr example indigo conducts self sponsored cadet program which will cost 55 lakhs rupees but u r almost like an employee of indigo from the day u sign the contract and u ll get stipend amount of 15000 while u do ur cpl at least will help to pay part of loan interest.
  • A plan B always works well. Instead of B.Sc (Aviation), Why dont you pursue something that will help you earn a living instead. Options range from engineering to management studies. If you want to stay with Aviation, You could do Aerospace engineering and get back to flying when conditions permit. Else you could try for the armed forces as folks have attested.
