    Dear Indian Aviators,
I am currently pursing my flying in India and I flown 90 hrs.
My question is "If I Continue my flying in US, is it possible to carry out my flying hours into my account of flying for FAA License ?..
  • My question is " I flown 90 hrs in India and I planned to go to US for further flying. And I dont have PPL.
1.Is it possible to carry out these 90 flying hrs in US.
2.Will FAA count these 90 hrs for issuing FAA CPL
3.If I have FAA CPL(90 hrs from India and 110 from US) ,and will DGCA issue Indian CPL?
  • yes ur hours is valid in usa, if u get faa cpl with the rest of the hours dgca will recognize it,
  • if he dosent have a ppl, he can go to usa, take ground class and clear exam first then apply for ppl checkride, i guess if he has 90 hrs he will have finished all requirements by now, max he has to give a skill test in this flying school
  • first of all you can use your indian logbook in the states. Secondly changing logbook doesnt nullify the hours. You should know better mam.

  • Flying hours will be valid in all icao contracting states and will also be add during Ur cpl conversion but in America things like solo, ppl, ir and cpl are valid on the check ride!!!! But if u fail roshan satisfy in the check rides then u have to fly additional hours which will cost u extra!!!!1
